• Question: A large amount of people are often concerned with organic foods. If utilising this for food production, could this be considered organic?

      This depends on how you define the word organic. The European Union generally considers fruit and vegetables “organic” if they haven’t been treated with artificial fertilizer. In that sense, genetically modified crops can be organic!

      As unusual as it might sound you could then have, organically grown genetically modified food!
